In 2026 we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of RevCon at Prezcon. This is also the anniversary year of the Declaration of Independence. Join us as we celebrate these two milestones.

All Week: The lineup of competitive games will include “Rebellion 1775” by Academy Games, “Freeman’s Farm 1777” by Worthington Games, and eight scenarios from “Battles of the American Revolution” by GMT Games.  Players will accumulate points and the overall champion will be awarded the coveted “George Washington Award.”

Wednesday, 6:00 p.m.: Professor Don Hanle will give a briefing on the Battle of Oriskany which was part of the larger Saratoga Campaign of 1777. His talk will focus on the challenge faced by the British to keep their native allies engaged during the Oriskany operations and how he addressed those challenges in his recent redesign of the game. EVERYONE IS INVITED!

 

Thursday, 6:00 p.m.: For bragging rights, we will play a team game of “Hold the Line.” Several games boards will be joined end-to-end, and two teams will square off with armies comprised of miniatures. Each team will have a commander-in-chief while brigadiers will control sections of the battlefield. This fun event promises to be highly visual and evocative.

 

Friday, 3:00 p.m.: Come join us for our 20th/250th anniversary celebration! We will have cake, sparkling wine and soft drinks.  There will be some brief remarks followed by a toast to General Washington.  This will be a festive affair, and you do not have to be a RevCon player to participate. EVERYONE IS INVITED!

Saturday, 6:00 p.m.: A RevCon awards ceremony will wrap up our week.  We will award Prezcon plaques, the George Washington Award, and present the Washington Award winner with the RevCon perpetual plaque on which his name will be inscribed.  There will be additional giveaways including a special anniversary edition collectible button for every RevCon player.
