The PrezCon Team

We would like to introduce those responsible for PrezCon. If you have a question you would like to ask one of these individuals, click on an image to generate an e-mail message.

Justin Thompson
President/Convention Director - Founder of the PrezCon Game Convention

In 1994, with the help Brian Carr and Michael Reynolds, Justin's dream of running a successful game convention in Charlottesville Virginia became a reality when the PrezCon WINTER NATIONALS were born. Since its humble beginnings PrezCon has grown to be one of the premier winter game conventions on the east coast.

As President and CEO, Justin's responsibilities to PrezCon included the overall organization and operations of the Con. Justin's current goals are to grow PrezCon into a major gaming force by running a convention that will appeal to all veteran gamers while bringing in new blood as well.

Send him questions concerning tournaments, demo's or if you want to GM a game. He is also the guy who makes your track schedule and can answer all of your questions pertaining to our schedule.

Justin is a three time winner of the Kingmaker World Championships and is currently the #1 rated Area Rated player for Kingmaker in the World. He enjoys role-playing, miniatures, card games, and board games.

William E. “Bill” Alderman
Vice President - Operations

Bill got into gaming and game conventions when his sons were teenagers and wanted to play games at cons.  He’s been active in gaming ever since.  Bill was Events Coordinator for GMT Games, increasing their participation in game conventions, and introducing GMT to thousands of new players.  He enjoys enabling gamers to play games they like with people they enjoy playing with, in an atmosphere that they enjoy – PrezCon’s just the place for that during a long winter weekend

Jim Stevens, MCAD, MCSD, OCP-DBA
Web Master

Certified in various web technologies, Jim manages the content and functionality of the PrezCon web.

Jim has been board gaming for 40+ years and has been a regular attendee of PrezCon as a player and GM of Air Baron.  Blitzkrieg (Avalon Hill) got him started and he has been collecting games ever since.  A native of Maryland but now a resident of Georgia, Jim has been involved in war gaming institutions such as Interest Group Baltimore, AvalonCon, and PrezCon.
